Our Veterans

Management

John Reynolds, Founder & CEO

Responsible for overall direction of Veterans2Work, Mr. Reynolds also leads sales, marketing and business development. His career led him to broad knowledge of customer relationship management, customer contact centers, information technology, solution selling and professional services.

His corporate experience includes stints as VP, Business Development for systems integrator eLoyalty Company and as a business development executive with U.S. Sprint, Wells Fargo Bank and several start-ups. He has helped more than 60 clients create or implement strategies for improving their customer relationships and contact centers.  He has also founded several companies, including a CRM consulting and services company recognized as an industry innovator and has helped to launch several others.

Mr. Reynolds is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served as an infantry squad leader with the 5th Infantry Division. He holds a BA from Ohio S tate University and an MBA from Stanford University.

  • Ilene Morris-Sambur, Co-founder & Chief Operating Officer

    Ms. Morris-Sambur oversees company operations. She is also the CEO and Founder of CORA – Creating Opportunities by Recognizing Abilities.  She is a former Senior Turnaround Consultant and Director for one of the top ten national turnaround consulting firms.  Possessing over 20 years hands-on executive financial management experience, she has delivered record-setting gains in increased profits for companies in over 35 industries. Serving as interim management as CEO, CFO and Controller for 100’s of financially distressed businesses, she has helped return them to profitable operations.

    She is a top level performer with strong leadership and staff training skills.  Prior to her consulting career, Ms. Morris-Sambur earned 15 years of progressive accounting line and financial management experience.

    Ms. Morris-Sambur recently shifted her turnaround consulting expertise to focus on her new Mission to identify and increase on-shore outsourcing telework opportunities to train, mentor and supervise Disabled Veterans, Military Spouses and Special Needs workers.  She has identified a proven methodology to dramatically increase telework and self-employment opportunities for this vast labor pool of highly capable, motivated people who can significantly impact society and the economy while enriching their own lives.

    Ms. Sambur recently formed a business alliance to conduct Pilot Programs with the grantees of the Department of Labor / ODEP Telework Grant, Walter Reed Army Medical Center Telework Training Pilot Program, Monster Diversity, Veterans Foundation and The Coaltion to Salute America's Heroes.  Her main objective of the Pilot Programs is to promote Corporate Awareness of telework outsourcing services by demonstrating program effectiveness.
