outbound marketing Representative
Responsibilities
Oubound Marketing Representatives will engage with prospective business customers via telephone, e-mail and on line resources, to conduct market research, qualify prospective customers, nurture prospect relationships, generate sales leads and schedule appointments. Success will be measured by concrete results in one or more of the following areas, as appropriate:
- Prospect list quality improvement
- Sales leads generated
- Initial appointments scheduled / completed
- Sales volume generated
Success Requirements
- Ability to engage people over the phone
- Telemarketing or inside sales experience a plus
- Ability to assess customer needs involving active listening skills
- Ability to learn relevant project, system, policy, procedure and product information as required.
- Facility with common computer applications (e.g., Excel)
- Great organizational and interpersonal skills
- Self motivation, persistence and discipline
- A functioning home office, including a high-speed internet-connected
computer and a land-line phone with an unlimited long distance calling plan
- High School diploma; college degree a plus
